Georgia Mae would've liked Twitter. She frequently telephoned her sisters, especially Mattie, to comment about something. Or, she would call me or my brother to state something she was thinking about. I know that she could limit her post to 140 words or less because she would hang up the phone after she finished saying what she wanted to say. She rarely said, "bye".

Why I Say What I Say
Definitions:
fan around-
When I wanted to go outside or go anywhere following a recent cold or illness, she would say, "Don't fan around!"
When my children caught cold, she would accuse me by saying, "Well, you probably just fanned her around!"
sheddy mess-
She would never encourage me to bring my Boston ferns inside when the weather turned cold. She would say that they would be a "sheddy mess"
